Lassen Sie sich von der faszinierenden Schlossbeleuchtung verzaubern, bei der das historische Heidelberger Schloss in ein atemberaubendes Lichtspiel gehüllt wird. Am 11.07.2026 und 05.09.2026, gegen 22.15 Uhr, tauchen Bengalische Leuchtfeuer das Schloss langsam in einen geheimnisvollen roten Feuerschein. So, als ob die Ruine ein weiteres Mal in ihrer langen Geschichte brennen würde. Wie zuletzt 1689 und 1693, als die Truppen des Sonnenkönigs Ludwig XIV. das Schloss und die Stadt niederbrannten und die heute weltberühmte Ruine zurück ließen. Wenn das glühende Schloss langsam verblasst, beginnt der zweite Teil des Spektakels – das Brillant-Feuerwerk über dem Neckar. Um seine frisch angetraute Gemahlin Elizabeth Stuart standesgemäß zu begrüßen, ließ Kurfürst Friedrich V. 1613 ein Feuerwerk inszenieren. Dieses Feuerwerk legte den Grundstein für die später folgenden Lichtspiele über dem nächtlichen Himmel Heidelbergs.
